Three different briefs were given for the second assessment to create 3 design concepts variations and proposal with the chosen one.For the first design variation, the main focus was on the context , the second context on the aesthetic and the last one on the accessibility of the mobile App.

The aim of this project is set to launch an Australian-first app that consolidates a specific target audience, to help and enhance user’s mental and physical health and fitness.

Australians can now download the ‘Goodlife Health Clubs App’ and sync the data from their apps to make setting goals and tracking progress easier and more efficient with social personalization, class bookings, exclusive content, electronic check-in from wherever they are directly from their mobile phones.

There was not really a specific target group in terms of demographic for this application, though people who suffer to depression and were prone to obesity were the primary audience. Catering to target audience demand and health specifications, this app built provides seamless integration across devices while also creating new ways to add value and enhance the traditional fitness experience.

The design proposals for the mobile App is is on a journey to create a next generation customer-centric digital experience to launch a new cross-platform mobile app which encompasses functionality, integration and member engagement not currently present on the website.

The initiative would also build brand affinity through the alignment of Goodlife’s facilities, products and services with each user’s health and fitness goals records, with even functions implemented an added for functionality and proper reflection of UI/UX Design Principles all throughout the development and design variation process process.

“We are always looking for new platforms to reach our existing members, as well as untapped audiences, in ways that relate to their individual needs, goals and preferences hoping to strengthen the human connection we have with our members by using your journeys to create and share credible and relatable content about your experiences at Goodlife.”.

In guise of conclusion, developing and designing three different variations catered for an audience in need of a better lifestyle for their own well-being has been a very interesting and fruitful experience en terms of finding solutions to engage users who already chose to make a move towards a brighter and healthier way of living, or who could share the purpose in an authentic way, was the next step in elevating broader learning outcomes concerning the UX Design principles as well as some personal learning also. The aim for the final proposed design concept variations is to refine my ideas based on the received feedback, and to polish the use of design principles for potentially better and more adequate outcomes.
